Unique Handmade Bespoke Beautiful

Hey, Liza here, aka Pixie, better known as Pixie Pottery. I have had a love for creating art as long as I can remember, but I’ve never been the conventional type. Everything I do is from inside my head, and inspiration through my loves and interests. I’m self taught, like everything i do, and can be very spontaneous. Even I don’t know what the outcome is going to be sometimes.

I started off my creative journey painting pop art and abstracts inspired by my love of music and spirituality. is wasn’t until i got my first kiln that i truly knew what love was. My Kiln is called Karen, and she’s a beauty. With the love of pottery, came the belief in the kiln gods, and their unpredictability.

Where did kiln god originate?

Kiln gods (or goddesses) originated in ancient times when pottery first came about in places like China and Egypt its not exactly clear. They were made from clay left over from the pot or sculpture you are about to fire.

All my work is most earthenware and occasionally stoneware clay, which is fired in Karen, then glazed which is where the magic happens. We are based in Berkshire/Surrey so can be found in craft markets and shops across the 2 counties.

Its all about Tiger Photography

John Burke

Photographer and Carpenter

I love getting out and about with my camera, seeing where the world takes me, and trying to show the world how i see it through my eyes.

Originally from a small seaside town in Northumberland called Blyth.

I got into photography later in my life when my daughter was born in 2009. She changed my outlook on life, i wanted to capture the moments of wonder she had, so i could show Mollie when she was older.

My photography developed with each shot i took, and adventure we went on. I go under Its all about Tiger photography, as Tiger is my nick name for Mollie.

Now i take my camera everywhere i go, because you never know when you will see opportunities to take a great scene, or capture a moment.

Im a carpenter by trade and like to create items that will pop up for sale every now and then, so keep a look out. im happy to do bespoke items for people, i just need a drawing or a picture, and i can recreate it.
